2 Chronicles 12:16

English Standard Version

16 And Rehoboam slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David, and Abijah[1] his son reigned in his place. (1Ki 14:31) 

New International Version

16 Rehoboam rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David. And Abijah his son succeeded him as king. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 Rehoboam joined the members of his family who had already died. He was buried in the City of David. Rehoboam’s son Abijah became the next king after him. 

King James Version

16 And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David: and Abijah his son reigned in his stead.
