2 Chronicles 10:15

English Standard Version

15 So the king did not listen to the people, for it was a turn of affairs brought about by God that the Lord might fulfill his word, which he spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat. (1Ki 11:29) 

New International Version

15 So the king did not listen to the people, for this turn of events was from God, to fulfil the word that the Lord had spoken to Jeroboam son of Nebat through Ahijah the Shilonite. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 So the king didn’t listen to the people. That’s because God had planned it that way. What the LORD had said through Ahijah came true. Ahijah had spoken the LORD’s message to Jeroboam, the son of Nebat. Ahijah was from Shiloh. 

King James Version

15 So the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the LORD might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
