4 (But David had brought up the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim to the place that David had prepared for it, for he had pitched a tent for it in Jerusalem.) (2Sa 6:2; 1Ch 15:25) 

New International Version

4 Now David had brought up the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim to the place he had prepared for it, because he had pitched a tent for it in Jerusalem. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 David had carried up the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim. He brought it to the place he had prepared for it. He had set up a tent for it in Jerusalem. 

King James Version

4 But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjathjearim to the place which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.
