1 Thessalonians 4:6

English Standard Version

6 that no one transgress and wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. (Ro 12:19; Ro 13:4; 1Co 6:8; Heb 13:4) 

New International Version

6 and that in this matter no-one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister.[1] The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 None of you should sin against your brother or sister by doing that. You should not take advantage of your brother or sister. The Lord will punish everyone who commits these kinds of sins. We have already told you and warned you about this. 

King James Version

6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
