17 When Samuel saw Saul, the Lord told him, “Here is the man of whom I spoke to you! He it is who shall restrain my people.” (1Sa 16:12) 

New International Version

17 When Samuel caught sight of Saul, the Lord said to him, ‘This is the man I spoke to you about; he will govern my people.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

17 When Samuel saw a man coming towards him, the LORD spoke to Samuel again. He said, ‘He is the man I told you about. His name is Saul. He will govern my people.’

17 And when Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said unto him, Behold the man whom I spake to thee of! this same shall reign over my people.
