1 Samuel 7:1

English Standard Version

1 And the men of Kiriath-jearim came and took up the ark of the Lord and brought it to the house of Abinadab on the hill. And they consecrated his son Eleazar to have charge of the ark of the Lord. (2Sa 6:3) 

New International Version

1 So the men of Kiriath Jearim came and took up the ark of the Lord. They brought it to Abinadab’s house on the hill and consecrated Eleazar his son to guard the ark of the Lord. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 So the men of Kiriath Jearim came and got the ark of the LORD. They brought it up to Abinadab’s house on the hill. They set his son Eleazar apart to guard the ark. 

King James Version

1 And the men of Kirjathjearim came, and fetched up the ark of the LORD, and brought it into the house of Abinadab in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the LORD.
