English Standard Version

1 David departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. And when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it, they went down there to him. (2Sa 23:13; 1Ch 11:15) 

New International Version

1 David left Gath and escaped to the cave of Adullam. When his brothers and his father’s household heard about it, they went down to him there. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 David left Gath and escaped to the cave of Adullam. His brothers and the other members of his family heard about it. So they went down to join him there. 

King James Version

1 David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father' house heard it , they went down thither to him.
