1 Then David fled from Naioth in Ramah and came and said before Jonathan, “What have I done? What is my guilt? And what is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?” (1Sa 1:19) 

New International Version

1 Then David fled from Naioth at Ramah and went to Jonathan and asked, ‘What have I done? What is my crime? How have I wronged your father, that he is trying to kill me?’ 

New International Reader’s Version

1 David was in Naioth at Ramah. He ran away from there to where Jonathan was. He asked him, ‘What have I done? What crime have I committed? I haven’t done anything to harm your father. So why is he trying to kill me?’ 

King James Version

1 And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what is mine iniquity? and what is my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?
