4 And there came out from the camp of the Philistines a champion named Goliath of Gath, whose height was six[1] cubits[2] and a span. (Jos 11:22; Jos 13:3; 1Sa 21:10; 2Sa 21:19; 1Ch 20:4) 

New International Version

4 A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span.[1] 

New International Reader’s Version

4 A mighty hero named Goliath came out of the Philistine camp. He was from Gath. He was more than 3.25 metres tall. 

King James Version

4 And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
