English Standard Version

33 And Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him, for you are but a youth, and he has been a man of war from his youth.” 

New International Version

33 Saul replied, ‘You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

33 Saul replied, ‘You aren’t able to go out there and fight that Philistine. You are too young. He’s been a warrior ever since he was a boy.’ 

King James Version

33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
