21 The man Elkanah and all his house went up to offer to the Lord the yearly sacrifice and to pay his vow. (1Sa 1:3) 

New International Version

21 When her husband Elkanah went up with all his family to offer the annual sacrifice to the Lord and to fulfil his vow, 

New International Reader’s Version

21 Elkanah went up to Shiloh to offer the yearly sacrifice to the LORD. He also went there to keep a promise he had made. His whole family went with him. 

King James Version

21 And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.
