15 But Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman troubled in spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but I have been pouring out my soul before the Lord. (Job 30:16; Ps 42:4; Ps 62:8; La 2:19) 

New International Version

15 ‘Not so, my lord,’ Hannah replied, ‘I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the Lord. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 ‘That’s not true, sir,’ Hannah replied. ‘I’m a woman who is deeply troubled. I haven’t been drinking wine or beer. I was telling the LORD all my troubles. 

King James Version

15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.
