1 Kings 8:54

English Standard Version

54 Now as Solomon finished offering all this prayer and plea to the Lord, he arose from before the altar of the Lord, where he had knelt with hands outstretched toward heaven. (2Ch 6:13; 2Ch 7:1) 

New International Version

54 When Solomon had finished all these prayers and supplications to the Lord, he rose from before the altar of the Lord, where he had been kneeling with his hands spread out towards heaven. 

New International Reader’s Version

54 Solomon finished praying. He finished asking the LORD to help his people. Then he got up from in front of the LORD’s altar. He had been down on his knees with his hands spread out towards heaven. 

King James Version

54 And it was so , that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.
