English Standard Version

17 There were lattices of checker work with wreaths of chain work for the capitals on the tops of the pillars, a lattice[1] for the one capital and a lattice for the other capital. 

New International Version

17 A network of interwoven chains adorned the capitals on top of the pillars, seven for each capital. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 Chains that were linked together hung down from the tops of the pillars. There were seven chains for each top. 

King James Version

17 And nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.
