1 Kings 5:18

English Standard Version

18 So Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders and the men of Gebal did the cutting and prepared the timber and the stone to build the house. (Jos 13:5; Eze 27:9) 

New International Version

18 The craftsmen of Solomon and Hiram and workers from Byblos cut and prepared the timber and stone for the building of the temple. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 The skilled workers of Solomon and Hiram cut and prepared the logs and stones. They would later be used in building the temple. Workers from Byblos also helped. 

King James Version

18 And Solomon' builders and Hiram' builders did hew them , and the stonesquarers: so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.
