28 Barley also and straw for the horses and swift steeds they brought to the place where it was required, each according to his duty. (Es 8:10; Es 8:14; Mic 1:13) 

New International Version

28 They also brought to the proper place their quotas of barley and straw for the chariot horses and the other horses. 

New International Reader’s Version

28 They also brought barley and straw for the chariot horses and the other horses. Each of the governors brought the amounts required of them. They brought them to the proper places. 

King James Version

28 Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.
