1 Kings 19:8

English Standard Version

8 And he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mount of God. (Ex 3:1; Ex 24:18; Ex 34:28; De 9:9; De 9:18; Mt 4:2; Mr 1:13; Lu 4:2) 

New International Version

8 So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he travelled for forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 So he got up. He ate and drank. The food gave him new strength. He travelled for 40 days and 40 nights. He kept going until he arrived at Horeb. It was the mountain of God. 

King James Version

8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.
