12 And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper.[1] 

New International Version

12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 After the earthquake a fire came. But the LORD wasn’t in the fire. And after the fire there was only a gentle whisper.
