1 Kings 15:8

English Standard Version

8 And Abijam slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David. And Asa his son reigned in his place. (2Ch 14:1) 

New International Version

8 And Abijah rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David. And Asa his son succeeded him as king. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 Abijah joined the members of his family who had already died. He was buried in the City of David. Abijah’s son Asa became the next king after him. 

King James Version

8 And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead.
