12 Yet for the sake of David your father I will not do it in your days, but I will tear it out of the hand of your son. 

New International Version

12 Nevertheless, for the sake of David your father, I will not do it during your lifetime. I will tear it out of the hand of your son. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 But I will not do that while you are still living. Because of your father David I will wait. I will tear the kingdom out of your son’s hand. 

King James Version

12 Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father' sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
