17 She said to him, “My lord, you swore to your servant by the Lord your God, saying, ‘Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne.’ (1Ki 1:13) 

New International Version

17 She said to him, ‘My lord, you yourself swore to me your servant by the Lord your God: “Solomon your son shall become king after me, and he will sit on my throne.” 

New International Reader’s Version

17 She said to him, ‘My master, you made a promise in the name of the LORD your God. You promised me, “Your son Solomon will be king after me. He will sit on my throne.” 

King James Version

17 And she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by the LORD thy God unto thine handmaid, saying , Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.
