1 John 3:9

English Standard Version

9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s[1] seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. (1Jo 5:18) 

New International Version

9 No-one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 

New International Reader’s Version

9 Those who are God’s children will not keep on sinning. God’s very nature remains in them. They can’t go on sinning. That’s because they are God’s children. 

King James Version

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
