English Standard Version

23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. (Joh 6:29; Ac 18:8; 1Jo 2:8; 1Jo 3:11) 

New International Version

23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 

New International Reader’s Version

23 God has commanded us to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ. He has also commanded us to love one another. 

King James Version

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
