1 Corinthians 9:10

English Standard Version

10 Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. (Ro 4:24; 2Ti 2:6) 

New International Version

10 Surely he says this for us, doesn’t he? Yes, this was written for us, because whoever ploughs and threshes should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest. 

New International Reader’s Version

10 Doesn’t he say that for us? Yes, it was written for us. Whoever ploughs and separates the corn hopes to share the harvest. And it is right for them to hope for this. 

King James Version

10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
