8 To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am. (1Co 7:1; 1Co 7:7; 1Co 7:26)

8 Now to the unmarried[1] and the widows I say: it is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do.

8 I speak now to those who are not married. I also speak to widows. It is good for you to stay single like me.
