4 So if you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who have no standing in the church? (1Co 5:12)

4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you ask for a ruling from those whose way of life is scorned in the church?

4 So suppose you disagree with one another in matters like this. Who do you ask to decide which of you is right? Do you ask people who live in a way the church disapproves of? Of course not!
