45 Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”;[1] the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. (Ge 2:7; Joh 5:21; Joh 6:33; Joh 6:39; Joh 6:54; Joh 6:57; Ro 5:14; Ro 8:2; Ro 8:10) 

New International Version

45 So it is written: ‘The first man Adam became a living being’; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. (Ge 2:7) 

New International Reader’s Version

45 It is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living person.’ The last Adam became a spirit that gives life. (Ge 2:7) 

King James Version

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
