1 Corinthians 15:32

English Standard Version

32 What do I gain if, humanly speaking, I fought with beasts at Ephesus? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” (Isa 22:13; Isa 56:12; Lu 12:19; 2Co 1:8)

New International Version

32 If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus with no more than human hopes, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised, ‘Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.’ (Isa 22:13)

New International Reader’s Version

32 Did I fight wild animals in Ephesus with nothing more than human hopes? Then what have I gained by it? If the dead are not raised, ‘Let us eat and drink, because tomorrow we will die.’ (Isa 22:13)

King James Version

32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
