1 Corinthians 13:3

English Standard Version

3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned,[1] but have not love, I gain nothing. (Da 3:28; Mt 6:2) 

New International Version

3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[1] but do not have love, I gain nothing. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 Suppose I give everything I have to poor people. And suppose I give myself over to a difficult life so I can boast. If I don’t have love, I get nothing at all. 

King James Version

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
