19 For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.” (Job 5:12; Isa 29:14; Jer 8:9; Mt 11:25) 

New International Version

19 For it is written: ‘I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.’ (Isa 29:14) 

New International Reader’s Version

19 It is written, ‘I will destroy the wisdom of those who are wise. I will do away with the cleverness of those who think they are so smart.’ (Isa 29:14) 

King James Version

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
