English Standard Version

6 This is the Benaiah who was a mighty man of the thirty and in command of the thirty; Ammizabad his son was in charge of his division.[1] (2Sa 23:20; 1Ch 11:24) 

New International Version

6 This was the Benaiah who was a mighty warrior among the Thirty and was over the Thirty. His son Ammizabad was in charge of his division. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 That same Benaiah was a mighty warrior among the 30 chiefs. In fact, he was leader over the 30 chiefs. His son Ammizabad was in charge of Benaiah’s group. 

King James Version

6 This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
