4 Dodai the Ahohite[1] was in charge of the division of the second month; in his division were 24,000. (2Sa 23:9; 1Ch 11:12) 

New International Version

4 In charge of the division for the second month was Dodai the Ahohite; Mikloth was the leader of his division. There were 24,000 men in his division. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 Dodai was in charge of the second fighting group for the second month. He belonged to the family line of Ahoah. Mikloth was the leader of Dodai’s group. The total number of men in Dodai’s group was 24,000. 

King James Version

4 And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
