2 Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel was in charge of the first division in the first month; in his division were 24,000. (2Sa 23:8; 1Ch 11:11) 

New International Version

2 In charge of the first division, for the first month, was Jashobeam son of Zabdiel. There were 24,000 men in his division. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 Jashobeam was in charge of the first fighting group for the first month. He was the son of Zabdiel. The total number of men in Jashobeam’s group was 24,000. 

King James Version

2 Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
