4 “Twenty-four thousand of these,” David said,[1] “shall have charge of the work in the house of the Lord, 6,000 shall be officers and judges, (De 16:18; 1Ch 26:29; 2Ch 2:2; 2Ch 2:18; 2Ch 19:8; 2Ch 34:12; Ezr 3:8)

4 David said, ‘Of these, twenty-four thousand are to be in charge of the work of the temple of the Lord and six thousand are to be officials and judges.

4 David said, ‘From them, 24,000 will be in charge of the work of the LORD’s temple. And 6,000 will be officials and judges.
