1 Then David said, “Here shall be the house of the Lord God and here the altar of burnt offering for Israel.” (De 12:5; 1Ch 21:18; 1Ch 21:26; 1Ch 21:28; 2Ch 3:1) 

New International Version

1 Then David said, ‘The house of the Lord God is to be here, and also the altar of burnt offering for Israel.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

1 David announced, ‘The house of the LORD God will be built here. Israel’s altar for burnt offerings will also be here.’ 

King James Version

1 Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.
