1 Chronicles 21:26

English Standard Version

26 And David built there an altar to the Lord and presented burnt offerings and peace offerings and called on the Lord, and the Lord[1] answered him with fire from heaven upon the altar of burnt offering. (Le 9:24) 

New International Version

26 David built an altar to the Lord there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. He called on the Lord, and the Lord answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering. 

New International Reader’s Version

26 David built an altar there to honour the LORD. He sacrificed burnt offerings and friendship offerings. He called out to the LORD. The LORD answered him by sending fire from heaven on the altar for burnt offerings. 

King James Version

26 And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.
