2 And David took the crown of their king from his head. He found that it weighed a talent[1] of gold, and in it was a precious stone. And it was placed on David’s head. And he brought out the spoil of the city, a very great amount. (2Sa 12:30)

New International Version

2 David took the crown from the head of their king[1] – its weight was found to be a talent[2] of gold, and it was set with precious stones – and it was placed on David’s head. He took a great quantity of plunder from the city

New International Reader’s Version

2 David took the gold crown off the head of the king of Ammon. The crown weighed 36 kilograms. It had jewels in it. It was placed on David’s head. He took a huge amount of goods from the city.

King James Version

2 And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David' head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.
