16 and Zadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were priests; and Shavsha was secretary; (2Sa 8:17; 2Sa 20:25; 1Ki 4:3; 1Ch 24:3; 1Ch 24:6) 

New International Version

16 Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelek[1] son of Abiathar were priests; Shavsha was secretary; (2Sa 8:17) 

New International Reader’s Version

16 Zadok, the son of Ahitub, was a priest. Ahimelek, the son of Abiathar, was also a priest. Shavsha was the secretary. 

King James Version

16 And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Shavsha was scribe;
