1 Chronicles 17:17

English Standard Version

17 And this was a small thing in your eyes, O God. You have also spoken of your servant’s house for a great while to come, and have shown me future generations,[1] O Lord God! 

New International Version

17 And as if this were not enough in your sight, my God, you have spoken about the future of the house of your servant. You, Lord God, have looked on me as though I were the most exalted of men. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 I would have thought that you had already done more than enough for me. But now, my God, you have spoken about my royal house. You have said what will happen to it in days to come. LORD God, you have treated me as if I were the most honoured man of all. 

King James Version

17 And yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant' house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.
