1خدا در دادگاه آسمانی ايستاده است تا قضات را به پای ميز محاكمه بكشاند.2او به قضات اين جهان میگويد: «تا به كی با بیانصافی قضاوت خواهيد كرد؟ تا به كی از مجرمين جانبداری خواهيد نمود؟3از حقوق بيچارگان و يتيمان دفاع كنيد؛ به داد مظلومان و فقيران برسيد.4ستمديدگان و درماندگان را از چنگ ظالمان برهانيد.5اما شما به حماقت رفتار مینماييد و در جهل و تاريكی زندگی میكنيد، به همين جهت اساس اجتماع متزلزل است.6من شما را ”خدايان“ خواندم و لقب ”فرزندان خدای متعال“ را به شما دادم.7اما شما مانند هر انسان ديگر خواهيد مرد و همچون ساير رهبران خواهيد افتاد.»8ای خدا، برخيز و بر جهان داوری كن! زيرا تو همهٔ قومها را به تصرف در خواهی آورد.

Rescue the Weak and Needy
A Psalm of Asaph.
1God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment:2“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah3Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.4Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”5They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.6I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you;7nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.”*8Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!
