Vier Warnungen

1 Mein Sohn, wenn du für deinen Nächsten eine Bürgschaft geleistet hast, dich durch Handschlag verpflichtet hast für einen anderen, (Spr 11,15; Spr 17,18; Spr 20,16; Spr 22,26) 

2 wenn du dich gebunden hast durch die Worte deines Mundes, durch die Worte deines Mundes gefangen bist, 

3 dann tu dies, mein Sohn, und rette dich so, denn du bist in die Gewalt deines Nächsten geraten: Geh eilends und bestürme deinen Nächsten. 

4 Gönne deinen Augen keinen Schlaf und deinen Wimpern keinen Schlummer. (Ps 132,4) 

5 Rette dich wie eine Gazelle aus seiner Gewalt und wie ein Vogel aus der Gewalt des Fängers. (Ps 124,7) 

6 Geh zur Ameise, du Fauler, sieh dir ihre Wege an, und werde weise. (Spr 10,26; Spr 15,19; Spr 19,24; Spr 26,13) 

7 Obwohl sie keinen Anführer hat, keinen Aufseher und Herrscher, 

8 sorgt sie im Sommer für ihr Futter, sammelt sie in der Erntezeit ihre Nahrung. (Spr 10,5; Spr 20,4; Spr 30,25) 

9 Wie lange, du Fauler, willst du liegen bleiben, wann willst du aufstehen von deinem Schlaf? (Spr 26,14) 

10 Noch ein wenig schlafen, noch ein wenig schlummern, noch ein wenig die Hände ineinander legen und liegen bleiben - (Spr 24,33) 

11 da kommt wie ein Räuber die Armut über dich und wie ein bewaffneter Mann der Mangel. (Spr 10,4; Spr 12,24; Spr 19,15; Spr 20,13) 

12 Ein nichtsnutziger Mensch, ein Frevler ist, wer Verkehrtheit im Mund führt, (Spr 2,12; Spr 16,27; Jak 3,6) 

13 wer mit den Augen zwinkert, mit den Füssen Zeichen gibt, mit den Fingern deutet. (Spr 10,10; Spr 16,30; Jes 58,9) 

14 Mit falschem Herzen plant er Böses, allezeit entfacht er Streit. (Spr 14,22) 

15 Darum wird plötzlich das Unglück über ihn kommen, im Nu wird er zerschmettert, ohne Heilung. (Spr 24,22; Spr 29,1) 

16 Sechs Dinge hasst der HERR, und sieben sind ihm ein Abscheu: (Hi 5,19) 

17 hochmütige Augen, eine verlogene Zunge und Hände, die das Blut Unschuldiger vergiessen, (2Kön 21,16; Spr 8,13; Spr 12,22; Spr 13,10; Spr 16,5; Spr 21,4) 

18 ein Herz, das tückische Pläne entwirft, Füsse, die eilends zum Bösen laufen, (Spr 1,16; Spr 11,20; Spr 15,26; Spr 24,8) 

19 wenn einer Lügen vorbringt als falscher Zeuge und wenn einer Streit entfacht zwischen Brüdern. (Spr 12,17; Spr 14,5; Spr 16,28; Spr 19,5; Spr 25,18) 

Warnung vor Ehebruch

20 Bewahre, mein Sohn, das Gebot deines Vaters, und verwirf nicht die Weisung deiner Mutter. (Spr 1,8) 

21 Binde sie für immer auf dein Herz, lege sie dir um den Hals. (Spr 3,3) 

22 Wenn du gehst, leitet sie dich, wenn du dich niederlegst, wacht sie über dir, und wachst du auf, spricht sie mit dir. (Spr 3,23) 

23 Denn das Gebot ist eine Leuchte und die Weisung ein Licht, und die Ermahnungen der Unterweisung sind ein Weg zum Leben, (Ps 119,105) 

24 Sie bewahren dich vor der bösen Frau, vor der glatten Zunge der Fremden. (Spr 2,16) 

25 Begehre in deinem Herzen nicht ihre Schönheit, und lass nicht zu, dass sie dich fängt mit ihren Wimpern. (5Mo 5,21; Hl 4,9) 

26 Denn eine Hure kostet nicht mehr als einen Laib Brot, die Frau eines anderen Mannes aber trachtet nach dem kostbaren Leben. (Spr 29,3) 

27 Kann einer Feuer tragen in den Falten seines Gewandes, ohne sich die Kleider zu verbrennen? (Hi 31,9) 

28 Oder kann man auf glühenden Kohlen gehen, ohne sich die Füsse zu versengen? 

29 So ist es bei dem, der zur Frau seines Nächsten geht, wer sie berührt, bleibt nicht ungestraft. (3Mo 18,20) 

30 Man verachtet den Dieb nicht, wenn er stiehlt, um sein Verlangen zu stillen, weil er Hunger hat. 

31 Und wird er ertappt, muss er es siebenfach ersetzen, den ganzen Besitz seines Hauses muss er geben. (2Mo 21,37) 

32 Wer aber Ehebruch begeht mit einer Frau, dem fehlt der Verstand, wer sein Leben zerstören will, der tut das. (Hos 4,11) 

33 Schaden und Schande handelt er sich ein, und nie wird seine Schmach getilgt. 

34 Voll Eifersucht glüht der Zorn des Mannes, und am Tag der Rache kennt er keine Schonung. (Spr 27,4) 

35 Er nimmt kein Sühnegeld an und gibt auch nicht nach, wenn du ihn grosszügig beschenkst.

1 My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger, 

2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth. 

3 Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend. 

4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids. 

5 Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter , and as a bird from the hand of the fowler. 

6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: 

7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, 

8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. 

9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? 

10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: 

11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man. 

12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth. 

13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers; 

14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord. 

15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy. 

16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 

18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 

19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. 

20 My son, keep thy father' commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: 

21 Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. 

22 When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. 

23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: 

24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. 

25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. 

26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. 

27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? 

28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? 

29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. 

30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; 

31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. 

32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. 

33 A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away. 

34 For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. 

35 He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.
