Gott liebt ohne Ende

1 Dankt unserm Gott, er ist gut, weil er ohne Ende liebt, 2 seine Leut’ soll’n sagen, dass er ohne Ende Liebe gibt. 3 Die Pastoren müssen rufen: „Seine Liebe hört nie auf!“ 4 Alle, die Gott voll Respekt geben, legen da noch einen drauf. 5 Als ich fertig war, am Boden lag, schrie ich zu dir, mein Gott: „Jetzt, bitte hilf mir!“ Und du kamst, holtest mich aus meinem Loch. 6 Gott spielt in meiner Mannschaft, er ist mit mir, ich hab null Angst, wer kann mir was, wo sind die Gegner? Denn du bist da, schon längst 7 bist du mit mir, du hilfst, dann bekomme ich doch voll Oberwasser, 8 auf Gott kann man immer bauen, denn er ist kein „Im-Stich-Lasser“. Menschen lassen einen doch ja mal öfter im Stich. 9 Ist gut, dir zu trauen, denn bauen kann man auf Prolls nicht. 10 Die Leute, die über dich lachen, waren um mich herum. Aber in deinem Namen kriegten sie von mir eins mit Wumm. 11 Die kamen von überall. Mit deiner Hilfe bring ich sie zu Fall. Ich schlug sie voll in die Flucht, mit dir da geht das allemal. 12 Sie fielen über mich wie ein Schwarm Wespen aufs Erdbeereis, aber mit deiner Hilfe schlug ich sie zu Brei, ohne Scheiß. Sie waren dann schneller weg, wie so ein Jet mit Überschall, 13 sie kämpften gegen mich, ganz prall, damit ich einfach hinfall. Aber mein Gott war dann zur Stelle, und er half mir schnell auf. 14 Gott allein gibt mir alle Power, mein’ Sieg, mein’ Lebenslauf. 15 Hört ihr die Songs über den Sieg, den er für uns erkämpft hat? Gott schreibt die heftigen Geschichten und wird dabei nicht matt. 16 Er schwingt die Fahne in der Luft, als Zeichen für seinen Sieg. 17 Ich werde nicht sterben, sondern leben, sing’ nur sein Siegeslied. 18 Er hat mich hart bestraft und doch beschützt er mich vor dem Tod. 19 Jetzt macht die Tür auf, ich will im Tempel Gott danken in der Not. 20 Wer Gott die Treue hält, der darf hier immer gern reinkommen. 21 Ich danke dir, mein Gott, durch dich bin ich dem Feind entronnen. 22 Der Eckstein in der Mauer, den die Bauarbeiter wegwarfen, den hast du genommen, dein Haus genau danach entworfen. 23 Was keiner für möglich hielt, das hast du einfach klargemacht. 24 Wir machen Party heute nur und feiern jetzt bis in die Nacht. 25 Mann, Gott, jetzt komm doch schnell vorbei und mach’, dass alles gut wird. 26 Willkommen, der einen Auftrag von Gott hat, für den beten wir wie Tier. 27 Denn Gott ist unser Chef, und er ist immer voll gut zu uns. Verschönert sein Haus mit Lampen, macht es richtig schön bunt. 28 Du bist mein Gott, und ich danke dir, ich klatsch’ dir laut Applaus, 29 macht alle mit, dankt unserm Gott, denn er kommt dann ganz groß raus. Und er ist voll freundlich, nett und gut, und das ständig. Das bedeutet korrekt, gestern, heute, für immer und ewig.

1 Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!
