Sela 3 Onu güzel armağanlarla karşıladın, Başına saf altından taç koydun. 4 Senden yaşam istedi, verdin ona: Uzun, sonsuz bir ömür. 5 Sağladığın zaferle büyük yüceliğe erişti, Onu görkem ve büyüklükle donattın. 6 Üzerine sürekli bereket yağdırdın, Varlığınla onu sevince boğdun. 7 Çünkü kral RAB'be güvenir, Yüceler Yücesi'nin sevgisi sayesinde sarsılmaz. 8 Elin bütün düşmanlarına erişecek, Sağ elin senden nefret edenlere uzanacak. 9 Öfkelendiğin an, ya RAB, Kızgın fırına döndüreceksin onları; Gazapla yutacak, Ateşle tüketeceksin. 10 Yok edeceksin çocuklarını yeryüzünden, Soylarını insanlar arasından. 11 Düzenler kursalar sana, Aldatmaya çalışsalar, Yine de başarılı olamazlar. 12 Çünkü sırtlarını döndüreceksin, Yayını yüzlerine doğru gerince. 13 Yüceliğini göster, ya RAB, gücünle! Ezgiler söyleyip ilahilerle öveceğiz kudretini.

1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O Lord, in your strength the king rejoices, and in your salvation how greatly he exults! (Mez 8:2; Mez 9:14; Mez 28:7) 2 You have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. (Mez 20:4) 3 For you meet him with rich blessings; you set a crown of fine gold upon his head. (2 Sa 12:30; 1 Ta 20:2; Mez 19:10; Mez 59:10) 4 He asked life of you; you gave it to him, length of days forever and ever. (2 Sa 7:19; 1 Kr 1:31; Neh 2:3; Mez 61:6; Mez 91:16) 5 His glory is great through your salvation; splendor and majesty you bestow on him. (Mez 8:5; Mez 45:3; Mez 96:6) 6 For you make him most blessed forever;[1] you make him glad with the joy of your presence. (Mez 16:11; Mez 45:7) 7 For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved. (Mez 10:6; Mez 16:8) 8 Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find out those who hate you. (Yşa 10:10) 9 You will make them as a blazing oven when you appear. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and fire will consume them. We will sing and praise your power.
