1 Dem Vorsänger. Von den Söhnen Korahs. Ein Psalm. (Ps 42,1) 2 Klatscht in die Hände, ihr Völker alle! Jauchzt Gott zu mit fröhlichem Schall! (Ps 47,6; Ps 98,4; Ps 98,8) 3 Denn der HERR, der Höchste, ist zu fürchten, ein großer König über die ganze Erde. (Ps 2,11; Ps 66,5; Mal 1,14) 4 Er wird die Völker uns unterwerfen und die Nationen unter unsere Füße. (4Mo 24,8; Ps 18,48; Jes 14,5) 5 Er wird unser Erbteil für uns erwählen, den Stolz Jakobs, den er geliebt hat. (Sela.) (5Mo 32,9; Hes 20,6; Hes 24,21; Am 8,7; Mal 1,2) 6 Gott ist aufgefahren mit Jauchzen, der HERR mit Hörnerschall. (1Chr 15,28; 2Chr 5,13; Ps 68,19; Ps 68,25) 7 Lobsingt Gott, lobsingt! Lobsingt unserem König, lobsingt! (Ps 30,5; Ps 68,5; Ps 149,1; Eph 5,19; Kol 3,16) 8 Denn Gott ist König der ganzen Erde; lobsingt mit Einsicht! (2Kön 19,15; Dan 2,47; Sach 14,9; Offb 19,16) 9 Gott herrscht über die Völker; Gott sitzt auf seinem heiligen Thron. (Ps 96,10; Jes 66,1; Offb 5,13; Offb 15,3) 10 Die Edlen der Völker haben sich versammelt [und] das Volk des Gottes Abrahams; denn Gott gehören die Schilde[1] der Erde; er ist sehr erhaben. (Ps 98,8; Ps 106,47) 3 Denn der HERR, der Höchste, ist ein heiliger Gott, ein großer König über die ganze Welt. (5Mo 7,21) 4 Er hat uns die Völker unterworfen und uns unsere Feinde zu Füßen gelegt. (Ps 18,48) 5 Er hat uns dieses Land zum Eigentum gegeben, zum stolzen Besitz der Nachkommen Jakobs, den er lieb hat. (1Petr 1,4) 6 Gott hat sich erhoben, von Jubel begleitet. Der HERR hat sich erhoben beim Schall der Posaune. (Ps 68,19; Ps 98,6) 7 Singt zu Gottes Ehre, singt! Singt zur Ehre unseres Königs, singt! (Ps 68,5) 8 Denn Gott ist König über die ganze Welt, singt ihm einen Psalm! 9 Gott herrscht über alle Völker. Gott sitzt auf seinem heiligen Thron. (1Chr 16,31) 10 Die Herrscher der Welt sind zusammengekommen und preisen mit uns den Gott Abrahams. Denn alle Könige auf der Erde gehören Gott. Ihm gebührt die Ehre. (Ps 72,11; Ps 89,19; Ps 97,9; Jes 49,7; Röm 4,11)

1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! (1Sam 10,24; 2Kön 11,12; Ps 42,1; Ps 95,1; Jes 55,12; Nah 3,19) 2 For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth. (5Mo 7,21; Ps 66,3; Ps 66,5; Ps 68,35; Mal 1,14) 3 He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet. (Ps 18,47) 4 He chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob whom he loves. (Ps 2,8; Am 6,8; Am 8,7; Nah 2,2; 1Petr 1,4) 5 God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. (2Sam 6,15; Ps 68,18) 6 Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! 7 For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm![1] (Sach 14,9; 1Kor 14,15) 8 God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne. (1Chr 16,31; Ps 22,28) 9 The princes of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is highly exalted! 1 Clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with cries of joy. 2 Do this because the LORD Most High is wonderful. He is the great King over the whole earth. 3 He brought nations under our control. He made them fall under us. 4 He chose our land for us. The people of Jacob are proud of their land, and God loves them. 5 God went up to his throne while his people were shouting with joy. The LORD went up while trumpets were playing. 6 Sing praises to God. Sing praises. Sing praises to our King. Sing praises. 7 God is the King of the whole earth. Sing a psalm of praise to him. 8 God rules over the nations. He is seated on his holy throne. 9 The nobles of the nations come together. They are now part of the people of the God of Abraham. The kings of the earth belong to God. He is greatly honoured.
