1 Von den Söhnen Korahs. Ein Psalmlied. Er hat sie gegründet auf heiligen Bergen; (Ps 42,1; Ps 68,17) 2 der HERR liebt die Tore Zions mehr als alle Wohnungen Jakobs. (Ps 78,67) 3 Herrliches ist über dich verheißen, du Stadt Gottes! (Sela.) (Jes 2,2; Hes 48,35; Mi 4,1; Zef 3,17) 4 Ich nenne Rahab[1] und Babel denen, die mich kennen; siehe, Philisterland und Tyrus und Kusch[2]: »Dieser ist dort geboren.« (Jos 19,21; Ps 68,32; Jes 30,7; Jes 51,9; Apg 8,27; Apg 21,3; Gal 4,26) 5 Aber von Zion wird man sagen: »Mann für Mann ist in ihr geboren«, und der Höchste selbst wird sie befestigen. (Ps 48,9) 6 Der HERR wird zählen, wenn er die Völker verzeichnet: »Dieser ist dort geboren.« (Sela.) (Hes 13,9; Lk 10,20) 7 Und sie singen beim Reigen: »Alle meine Quellen sind in dir!« (Ps 68,26; Jes 12,3; Hes 47,1; Joh 1,16; Joh 4,14; Offb 21,6; Offb 22,1)

1 Ein Psalmlied der Korachiter. Sie ist fest gegründet auf den heiligen Bergen. 2 Der HERR liebt die Tore Zions mehr als alle Wohnungen Jakobs. 3 Herrliche Dinge sagt man von dir, du Stadt Gottes. Sela. 4 »Ich zähle Ägypten und Babel zu denen, die mich kennen, auch die Philister und Tyrer samt den Kuschitern: Die sind dort geboren.« (Jes 19,24) 5 Man wird von Zion sagen: / »Ein jeder ist dort geboren«; und er selbst, der Höchste, erhält es. 6 Der HERR spricht, wenn er aufschreibt die Völker: »Die sind dort geboren.« Sela. 7 Und sie singen beim Reigen: Alle meine Quellen sind in dir! (Ps 36,10)

1 Ein Psalmlied der Nachkommen Korachs. Auf den heiligen Bergen liegt die von ihm erbaute Stadt. 2 Und Jahwe liebt die Zionsstadt mit ihren Toren / noch mehr als alle Wohnstätten Jakobs. 3 Herrliches wird von dir gesagt, du Gottesstadt! ♪ 4 Ich rechne Ägypten und Babylon / zu denen, die mich kennen, / dann aber auch die Philister, die Tyrer und die Nubier, / von denen man sagt: „Dieser ist dort geboren.“ 5 Doch von Zion wird man sagen: / „Jeder ist in dir daheim.“ / Und der Höchste befestigt die Stadt. 6 Wenn Jahwe alle Völker registriert, schreibt er: / „Dieser hat in Zion Heimatrecht.“ ♪ 7 Singend und tanzend werden sie dann sagen: / „Zion, in dir sind wir daheim!“[1]

1 On the holy mount stands the city he founded; (Ps 48,1; Jes 28,16) 2 the LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. (Ps 78,67; Ps 78,68) 3 Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God. Selah (Ps 46,4; Jes 60,1) 4 Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush[1]— “This one was born there,” they say. (Hi 9,13; Ps 36,10; Ps 68,31; Jes 19,22; Joh 10,14) 5 And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will establish her. (Ps 48,8) 6 The LORD records as he registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” Selah (Ps 69,28) 7 Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.” (2Sam 6,14; Ps 36,9; Ps 68,25; Jes 12,3; Offb 21,6)

1 The LORD has built his city on the holy mountain. 2 He loves the city of Zion more than all the other places where the people of Jacob live. 3 City of God, the LORD says glorious things about you. 4 He says, ‘I will include Egypt and Babylon in a list of nations who recognise me as king. I will also include Philistia and Tyre, along with Cush. I will say about them, “They were born in Zion.” ’ 5 Certainly it will be said about Zion, ‘This nation and that nation were born in it. The Most High God himself will make it secure.’ 6 Here is what the LORD will write in his list of the nations. ‘Each of them was born in Zion.’ 7 As they make music they will sing, ‘Zion, all our blessings come from you.’
