(Ps 47,6; Ps 98,4; Ps 98,8) 3 Denn der HERR, der Höchste, ist zu fürchten, ein großer König über die ganze Erde. (Ps 2,11; Ps 66,5; Mal 1,14) 4 Er wird die Völker uns unterwerfen und die Nationen unter unsere Füße. (4Mo 24,8; Ps 18,48; Jes 14,5) 5 Er wird unser Erbteil für uns erwählen, den Stolz Jakobs, den er geliebt hat. (Sela.) 1 Ein Psalm der Korachiter, vorzusingen. 2 Schlagt froh in die Hände, alle Völker, und jauchzet Gott mit fröhlichem Schall! 3 Denn der HERR, der Allerhöchste, ist zu fürchten, ein großer König über die ganze Erde. 4 Er zwingt die Völker unter uns und Völkerschaften unter unsere Füße. 5 Er erwählt uns unser Erbteil, die Herrlichkeit Jakobs, den er liebt. Sela. (5Mo 32,9) 6 Gott fährt auf unter Jauchzen, der HERR beim Schall der Posaune. 7 Lobsinget, lobsinget Gott, lobsinget, lobsinget unserm Könige! 8 Denn Gott ist König über die ganze Erde; lobsinget ihm mit Psalmen! (Ps 93,1) 9 Gott ist König über die Völker, Gott sitzt auf seinem heiligen Thron. 10 Die Fürsten der Völker sind versammelt als Volk des Gottes Abrahams; denn Gott gehören die Schilde auf Erden; er ist hoch erhaben.

Ein Psalmlied von den Söhnen Korachs. 2 Ihr Völker alle, klatscht in die Hände! / Lobt Gott und lasst euren Jubel laut hören! 3 Denn Jahwe, der Höchste, ist aller Ehren wert, / ein großer König über die ganze Welt. 4 Er hat uns Völker unterstellt, / uns ganze Nationen zu Füßen gelegt. 5 Er hat für uns das Erbland ausgewählt, / den Stolz der Nachkommen Jakobs, die er liebt. ♪ 6 Im Jauchzen stieg Gott hinauf, / im Schall des Schofar-Horns, Jahwe. 7 Singt, lobsingt zu Gottes Ehre, / singt, lobsingt unserem König! 8 Denn Gott ist König der ganzen Erde, / singt ihm euer schönstes Lied![1] 9 Gott ist König über die Völker; / Gott sitzt auf seinem heiligen Thron. 10 Die Großen der Völker kommen herbei / als Volk des Gottes Abrahams, / denn Gott gehören die Schilde[2] der Erde. / Er allein ist über alle erhöht.

(1Sam 10,24; 2Kön 11,12; Ps 95,1; Jes 55,12; Nah 3,19) 2 For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth. (5Mo 7,21; Ps 66,3; Ps 66,5; Ps 68,35; Mal 1,14) 3 He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet. (Ps 18,47) 4 He chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah (Ps 2,8; Am 6,8; Am 8,7; Nah 2,2; 1Petr 1,4) 5 God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet. (2Sam 6,15; Ps 68,18) 6 Sing praises to God, sing praises! 1 Clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with cries of joy. 2 Do this because the LORD Most High is wonderful. He is the great King over the whole earth. 3 He brought nations under our control. He made them fall under us. 4 He chose our land for us. The people of Jacob are proud of their land, and God loves them. 5 God went up to his throne while his people were shouting with joy. The LORD went up while trumpets were playing. 6 Sing praises to God. Sing praises. Sing praises to our King. Sing praises. 7 God is the King of the whole earth. Sing a psalm of praise to him. 8 God rules over the nations. He is seated on his holy throne. 9 The nobles of the nations come together. They are now part of the people of the God of Abraham. The kings of the earth belong to God. He is greatly honoured.
