Michas Bilderdienst in Ephraim. Ein Levit wird sein Priester
1Und es war ein Mann vom Bergland Ephraim namens Micha. Der sprach zu seiner Mutter: (Jos 17,15; Jos 21,21; Jos 24,30; Ri 10,1)2Die 1 100 Silberlinge, die dir entwendet worden sind und um derentwillen du einen Schwur ausgesprochen hast vor meinen Ohren — siehe, jenes Geld ist bei mir, ich habe es entwendet! Da sprach seine Mutter: Gesegnet seist du, mein Sohn, von dem HERRN! (1Sam 23,21; Ps 10,3)3So gab er seiner Mutter die 1 100 Silberlinge wieder. Und seine Mutter sprach: Ich habe das Geld aus meiner Hand ganz dem HERRN geheiligt für dich, mein Sohn, dass man ein Bildnis, ein gegossenes Bild, machen soll; darum gebe ich es dir jetzt wieder! (2Mo 20,23; 3Mo 19,4)4Er aber gab seiner Mutter das Geld zurück. Da nahm seine Mutter 200 Silberlinge und gab sie dem Goldschmied; der machte ihr daraus ein Bildnis und ein gegossenes Bild; das kam in Michas Haus. (5Mo 27,15; Jes 46,6; Hab 2,18)5So hatte also Micha ein Gotteshaus, und er machte ein Ephod und Teraphim und weihte einen seiner Söhne, damit er ihm als Priester diente. (1Mo 31,19; 2Mo 29,9; Ri 8,27; 1Kön 13,33; Hos 3,4)6Zu jener Zeit gab es keinen König in Israel; jeder tat, was recht war in seinen Augen. (5Mo 12,8; Ri 18,1; Ri 19,1; Ri 21,25; Spr 14,12; Spr 16,2; Pred 12,1)7Es war aber ein junger Mann aus Bethlehem -Juda, vom Geschlecht Judas, der war ein Levit[1] und hielt sich dort als Fremdling auf. (Ri 12,8; Ri 19,1; Rut 1,1; Mi 5,1)8Er zog aber aus der Stadt Bethlehem-Juda, um sich als Fremdling dort niederzulassen, wo er [etwas Geeignetes] fände. Als er so seines Weges ging, kam er auf das Bergland Ephraim zum Haus Michas. (Ri 17,11; Neh 13,10)9Da fragte ihn Micha: Wo kommst du her? Er antwortete ihm: Ich bin ein Levit von Bethlehem-Juda und bin unterwegs, um mich dort als Fremdling niederzulassen, wo ich [etwas Geeignetes] finde! (Ri 17,7)10Da sprach Micha zu ihm: Bleibe bei mir! Du sollst mir Vater und Priester sein; ich will dir jährlich zehn Silberlinge und Bekleidung und deinen Unterhalt geben! Und der Levit ging hinein. (1Mo 45,8; Ri 18,19; 2Sam 18,11; 2Kön 2,12; Mt 26,15)11Und der Levit willigte ein, bei dem Mann zu bleiben; und dieser hielt den jungen Mann wie einen seiner Söhne. (Ri 18,3)12Und Micha weihte den Leviten, damit der junge Mann ihm als Priester diente; und er blieb in Michas Haus. 1And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.2And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son.3And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.4Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.5And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.6In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.7And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.8And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place : and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.9And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place .10And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.11And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.12And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.13Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.
