Klagelied über Tyrus

1 Und das Wort des HERRN erging an mich folgendermaßen: 2 Du, Menschensohn, stimme ein Klagelied über Tyrus an (Jer 9,16; Hes 26,17; Hes 27,32) 3 und sprich zu Tyrus, die am Meeresstrand liegt und mit den Völkern Handel treibt nach vielen Inseln hin: So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Tyrus, du hast gesagt: »Ich bin von vollkommener Schönheit!« (Spr 30,30; Jes 23,1; Jes 23,3; Jes 23,8; Hes 27,11; Hes 28,2; Hes 28,12; Hes 28,17)

4 Deine Grenzen liegen mitten im Meer, und deine Bauleute haben deine Schönheit vollkommen gemacht. (Hes 27,3) 5 Aus Zypressen von Senir haben sie alle deine Planken gemacht; Zedern vom Libanon haben sie genommen, um einen Mast für dich zu fertigen. (5Mo 3,9; 2Chr 2,3; 2Chr 2,8) 6 Aus Eichen von Baschan haben sie deine Ruder hergestellt; sie haben dein Deck aus Elfenbein gemacht, eingefasst in Scherbinzedernholz von den Inseln der Kittäer. 7 Dein Segel war aus feinem Leinen in Buntwirkerarbeit aus Ägypten, damit es dir als Kriegsbanner diene, und aus blauem und rotem Purpur von den Küsten Elischas war dein Zeltdach. (1Mo 10,4; 1Chr 1,7; Spr 7,16) 8 Die Einwohner von Zidon und Arwad waren deine Ruderknechte; deine eigenen Weisen, o Tyrus, die in dir wohnten, waren deine Steuermänner. 9 Die Ältesten von Gebal und ihre Weisen sind bei dir gewesen und haben die Lecks [deiner Schiffe] ausgebessert. Alle Schiffe des Meeres samt ihren Matrosen sind bei dir gewesen, um Tauschhandel mit dir zu treiben. (Ps 83,8) 10 Die Perser, [die Leute von] Lud und Put waren in deinem Heer als deine Kriegsleute; sie hängten ihre Schilde und Helme bei dir auf; sie verliehen dir Glanz. 11 Die Söhne Arwads waren mit deinem Heer ringsum auf deinen Mauern und die Gammaditer auf deinen Türmen. Sie hängten ihre Schilde ringsum an deinen Mauern auf; sie machten deine Schönheit vollkommen. (1Mo 10,18; Hes 27,3; Hes 27,8) 12 Tarsis hat mit dir Handel getrieben mit einer Menge von allerlei Gütern; mit Silber, Eisen, Zinn und Blei hat es deine Waren bezahlt. 13 Jawan, Tubal und Mesech sind deine Kunden gewesen; mit Menschenseelen und ehernen Geräten haben sie Tauschhandel mit dir getrieben. (1Mo 10,2; Hes 38,3; Hes 39,1) 14 Die vom Haus Togarma haben mit Pferden, Reitern und Maultieren deine Waren bezahlt. (1Mo 10,3; Hes 38,6) 15 Die Söhne Dedans waren deine Kunden; viele Küstenländer standen in Handelsbeziehung mit dir; sie lieferten dir Stoßzähne aus Elfenbein und Ebenholz als Zahlung. (1Mo 10,7; 1Kön 10,22; Hes 27,20) 16 Die Aramäer haben mit dir Handel getrieben wegen der Menge deiner Erzeugnisse; für deine Waren gaben sie dir Karfunkel, roten Purpur, bunt gewirkte Stoffe, feines Leinen, Korallen und Rubinen. 17 Juda und das Land Israel waren deine Kunden; sie lieferten dir Weizen aus Minnit, Backwaren, Honig, Öl und Balsam im Austausch. (1Mo 43,11; 5Mo 32,13; Ri 11,33; 1Kön 5,25; Esr 3,7; Jer 8,22; Apg 12,20)

18 Damaskus trieb Handel mit dir wegen der Menge deiner Erzeugnisse, mit einer Menge von allerlei Gütern, mit Wein von Helbon und Wolle von Zachar. (1Mo 15,2; Jes 7,8; Apg 9,2) 19 Wedan und Jawan von Usal gaben dir geschmiedetes Eisen für dein Handelsgut; Kassia und Zimtrohr hatten sie für dich als Tauschware. (2Mo 30,23; Hl 4,14) 20 Dedan hat mit Satteldecken zum Reiten mit dir gehandelt. (Hes 25,13; Hes 27,15) 21 Die Araber und alle Fürsten von Kedar suchten dich auf mit Schafen, Widdern und Böcken; damit trieben sie Handel mit dir. (1Mo 25,13; 2Chr 17,11; Jes 60,7) 22 Die Kaufleute von Saba und Rama waren deine Kunden; sie haben die allerköstlichste Spezerei, allerlei Edelsteine und Gold für deine Ware gegeben. 23 Haran, Kanne und Eden, die Kaufleute aus Saba, Assyrien und Kilmad sind deine Kunden gewesen. (2Kön 19,12) 24 Sie trieben mit dir Handel mit prächtigen Gewändern, mit Mänteln aus blauem Purpur und bunt gewirktem Stoff, mit zweifarbigen Stoffen, mit Schiffstauen und fest gedrehten Seilen [im Tausch] gegen deine Waren. (Hes 27,7; Hes 27,16) 25 Tarsisschiffe zogen für dich dahin mit deinen Tauschwaren; davon wurdest du sehr reich und geehrt im Herzen der Meere. (Hes 27,4; Hes 27,12) 26 Deine Ruderknechte haben dich über viele Wasser gebracht; ein Ostwind soll dich zerbrechen im Herzen der Meere! (Ps 48,8; Apg 27,14; Apg 27,40) 27 Deine Reichtümer und dein Absatz, deine Tauschware, deine Seeleute und deine Steuermänner, deine Schiffszimmerleute und deine Tauschhändler und alle deine Kriegsleute, die bei dir sind, samt der ganzen Volksmenge in dir werden mitten ins Meer stürzen am Tag deines Falls. 28 Von dem Geschrei deiner Steuermänner wird das Festland erzittern. (Hes 26,10; Hes 26,15; Hes 27,35) 29 Alle, die das Ruder führen, die Schiffsleute und alle Steuermänner auf dem Meer, werden aus ihren Schiffen steigen und ans Land treten. (Hes 26,16; Hes 32,10; Offb 18,17) 30 Und sie werden deinetwegen ihre Stimme erheben und bitterlich schreien. Sie werden Staub auf ihre Häupter werfen und sich in Asche wälzen. (Hi 2,12; Jer 6,26; Jer 25,34; Hes 8,18; Offb 18,19)

31 Auch werden sie sich um deinetwillen kahl scheren und Sacktuch anlegen. Sie werden dich mit traurigem Herzen und in bitterer Klage beweinen. (Jes 22,12; Jer 48,37; Am 8,10) 32 Und in ihrem Jammer werden sie ein Klagelied über dich anstimmen und über dich wehklagen: Wer ist wie Tyrus, das so still geworden ist mitten im Meer? (Hes 27,2; Offb 18,18) 33 Als deine Waren von den Meeren her kamen, ernährtest du viele Völker; mit der Menge deiner Reichtümer und mit deinen Tauschwaren hast du die Könige der Erde bereichert. 34 Nun aber, da du zerschellt und von den Meeren verschwunden und in die Wassertiefen gestürzt worden bist, sind deine Tauschwaren und all dein Volk in deiner Mitte gefallen. (Hes 26,12; Hes 26,19; Hes 27,26; Sach 9,3)

35 Alle Einwohner der Inseln sind entsetzt über dich, und alle ihre Könige sind von Schauder erfasst; ihre Angesichter beben. (Jes 23,5; Hes 26,15; Hes 28,17; Offb 18,9)

1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, 2 Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus; 3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty. 4 Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty. 5 They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee. 6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim. 7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee. 8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men , O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots. 9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise. 10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness. 11 The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect. 12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs. 13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market. 14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules. 15 The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony. 16 Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate. 17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm. 18 Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool. 19 Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market. 20 Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots. 21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants. 22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold. 23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants. 24 These were thy merchants in all sorts of things , in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise. 25 The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas. 26 Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas. 27 Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin. 28 The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots. 29 And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land; 30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes: 31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing. 32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying , What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea? 33 When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise. 34 In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall. 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance. 36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.
