Gottes Urteil über die falschen Propheten

1 Und das Wort des HERRN erging an mich folgendermaßen: 2 Menschensohn, weissage gegen die Propheten Israels, die weissagen, und sage zu denen, die aus ihrem eigenen Herzen weissagen: Hört das Wort des HERRN! (Jer 14,14; Jer 23,16; Jer 23,26; Hes 13,17)

3 So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Wehe den törichten Propheten, die ihrem eigenen Geist folgen und dem, was sie nicht gesehen haben! (Jer 23,28; Hes 13,6) 4 O Israel, deine Propheten sind wie Schakale in den Ruinen geworden! (Hl 2,15; Kla 5,18; Mi 2,11; Mi 3,5; Mt 7,15)

5 Ihr seid nicht in die Risse getreten^[1] und habt keine Mauer um das Haus Israel gebaut, damit es im Kampf standhalten könnte am Tag des HERRN! (Ps 106,23; Jer 23,22; Hes 22,30) 6 Sie schauen Trug und lügenhafte Wahrsagung, sie, die sagen: »So spricht der HERR!«, obwohl der HERR sie nicht gesandt hat; und sie machen [dem Volk] Hoffnung, dass [ihr] Wort sich erfülle. (Jer 14,14; Jer 23,25; Jer 28,1; Jer 28,15; Jer 29,31; Kla 2,14; Hes 22,28; Mt 24,5)

7 Habt ihr nicht trügerische Gesichte gesehen und lügenhafte Wahrsagung ausgesprochen und dabei gesagt: »So spricht der HERR!«, während ich doch nicht geredet habe? (Hes 13,2; Hes 13,6; Mt 24,23) 8 Darum, so spricht GOTT, der Herr: Weil ihr Trug redet und Lügen schaut, darum, siehe, komme ich über euch! Das spricht GOTT, der Herr. 9 Und meine Hand soll über die Propheten kommen, die Trug schauen und Lügen wahrsagen. Sie sollen nicht dem geheimen Rat meines Volkes angehören und nicht in das Verzeichnis des Hauses Israel eingetragen werden; sie sollen auch nicht in das Land Israel kommen — ja, ihr werdet erkennen, dass ich GOTT, der Herr bin! —, (Ps 69,29; Ps 95,11; Ps 101,7; Jer 29,32; Hes 12,15; Hes 12,20; Hes 13,14; Hes 13,21; Hes 13,23; Hes 14,8; Hes 14,9; Hes 20,38)

10 darum, ja, darum, weil sie mein Volk irregeführt und von Frieden geredet haben, wo doch kein Friede ist. Jener baut eine Wand, und diese übertünchen sie mit Kalk! (Jes 28,15; Jer 6,14; Jer 8,11; Jer 14,13; Hes 22,28)

11 So sage nun denen, die mit Kalk tünchen, dass sie fallen wird! Es soll ein überschwemmender Platzregen kommen, und Hagelsteine werden fallen, und ein Sturmwind wird losbrechen. (Hi 27,20; Jes 28,2; Hes 38,22; Lk 6,48)

12 Ja, siehe, die Wand wird fallen! Wird man dann nicht zu euch sagen: Wo ist nun die Tünche, die ihr darübergetüncht habt? (5Mo 32,37; Ri 9,38; Jer 37,19) 13 Darum, so spricht GOTT, der Herr: Ich lasse in meinem Grimm einen Sturmwind hervorbrechen, und ein überschwemmender Platzregen soll durch meinen Zorn kommen und Hagelsteine durch meinen Grimm zur Vernichtung. (Jer 23,19; Kla 2,1; Offb 6,17) 14 Und die Wand, die ihr mit Kalk getüncht habt, will ich niederreißen und zu Boden werfen, dass ihr Fundament aufgedeckt wird und [Jerusalem] fällt und ihr in ihrer Mitte umkommt; und ihr werdet erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin. (Jes 28,17; Hes 13,9; Mt 7,26) 15 So will ich meinen Grimm vollstrecken an dieser Wand und an denen, die sie mit Kalk getüncht haben, und zu euch sagen: Die Wand ist nicht mehr, und die, welche sie getüncht haben, sind auch nicht mehr, (Neh 4,3; Ps 62,4; Jes 30,13) 16 nämlich die Propheten Israels, die über Jerusalem weissagen und Gesichte des Friedens für sie schauen, wo doch kein Friede ist, spricht GOTT, der Herr. (Jer 5,31; Hes 13,10) 17 Und du, Menschensohn, richte dein Angesicht gegen die Töchter deines Volkes, die aus ihrem eigenen Herzen weissagen, und weissage gegen sie, (Hes 13,2; 2Tim 4,3) 18 und sprich: So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Wehe den Frauen, die Binden nähen für jedes Handgelenk und Kopfhüllen verfertigen für Köpfe jeder Größe, um Seelen zu fangen! Wollt ihr die Seelen meines Volkes fangen, um eure eigenen Seelen am Leben zu erhalten? (Spr 7,16; Hes 22,25; 2Petr 2,14) 19 Ihr entweiht mich bei meinem Volk für einige Hände voll Gerste und für etliche Bissen Brot, um Seelen zu töten, die nicht sterben sollten, und Seelen am Leben zu erhalten, die nicht leben sollten, indem ihr mein Volk anlügt, das Lügen gern Gehör schenkt! 20 Darum, so spricht GOTT, der Herr: Siehe, ich komme über eure Binden, mit denen ihr [sie] fangt; ich will die Seelen wegfliegen lassen [wie Vögel]! Ich will sie euch von den Armen wegreißen und die Seelen, die ihr fangt, freilassen; ich [will] die Seelen wegfliegen lassen [wie Vögel]! (Hes 13,8; 2Tim 2,26) 21 Und ich will eure Kopfhüllen zerreißen und mein Volk aus eurer Hand erretten, damit sie künftig nicht mehr als Beute in eure Hand fallen; und ihr sollt erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin. (Hes 13,9) 22 Weil ihr das Herz des Gerechten mit Betrug kränkt, den ich doch nicht gekränkt haben will, dagegen die Hände des Gottlosen stärkt, damit er sich ja nicht von seinem bösen Weg bekehrt und am Leben bleibt, (Jer 14,13; Jer 23,14; Hes 18,29) 23 darum sollt ihr künftig keinen Trug mehr schauen und keine Wahrsagerei mehr treiben, sondern ich will mein Volk aus eurer Hand erretten, und ihr sollt erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin! (Hes 12,24; Hes 13,9; Hes 34,10; Mi 3,6)

1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD; 3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. 5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD. 6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. 7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it ; albeit I have not spoken? 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD. 9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD. 10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter : 11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter , that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it . 12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it ? 13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it . 14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter , and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter , and will say unto you, The wall is no more , neither they that daubed it; 16 To wit , the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD. 17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them, 18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? 19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? 20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly. 21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life: 23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
