Moses prophetischer Segen über die zwölf Stämme

1 Und dies ist der Segen, mit dem Mose, der Mann Gottes, die Kinder Israels vor seinem Tod gesegnet hat. 15 mit dem Besten der uralten Berge und vom Köstlichsten der ewigen Hügel (1Mo 49,26; Hab 3,6) 16 und vom Kostbarsten des Landes und seiner Fülle; und das Wohlgefallen dessen, der im Dornbusch wohnt, es komme auf das Haupt Josephs und auf den Scheitel des Geweihten unter seinen Brüdern! (1Mo 49,26; 2Mo 3,2) 17 Prächtig ist er wie sein erstgeborener Stier, Hörner hat er wie ein Büffel; damit stößt er die Völker nieder, sie alle, [bis an] die Enden der Erde. 20 Und über Gad sprach er: »Gepriesen sei, der Gad Raum schafft! Wie eine Löwin legt er sich nieder und zerreißt Arm und Scheitel.
